Commemorative Monument to Native Americans

In conjunction with the
artwork were twelve speaking engagements that was presented
by a local group of Native Americans called 'Spirit Guides'.
Consisted of presentations of historical information,
myths, and contemporary issues that led to discussion
sessions. Also included traditional dancing and viewers
were encouraged to participate. Spirit Guides also created
an audio loop tape of various people telling stories and
myths, this emanated from the tipi when the live presentations
were not in session (monument mode).
