This site is an archive of the presentations and course documents from Clayton Merrell's color class at Carnegie Mellon University, Spring 2015.

The class took a broad approach to color, approaching it from physiological, social, perceptual, physical and aesthetic angles, all with the goal of improving color use in everyone's artwork, whether in paint, on screen or in any other material.

It's been a great class - thanks to all the students who took it so seriously, and threw themselves wholeheartedly into all of the studies.
